What file format does Farium use?
Plain
.md files. No proprietary format, no database. You can open your notes in any other editor, back them up with any tool, and switch away from Farium anytime without conversion.
Can I export to PDF or HTML?
Yes. Farium exports to PDF via the native macOS print dialog, to standalone HTML with inline CSS (no external dependencies), and can copy formatted content as rich text for pasting into Mail, Pages, or Word.
Does Farium work on Apple Silicon?
Yes. Farium is a universal binary and runs natively on both Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) and Intel Macs. macOS 11 Big Sur or newer is required.
